The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that applications remain open for the general competition to select diplomatic attachés, according to a set of specified conditions and criteria, until 18 November.اضافة اعلان

In a press statement, the ministry said that one of the main conditions for applying is that the candidate must be a Jordanian national and hold at least a first university degree (bachelor’s), obtained through regular study from a university recognized by official authorities in the Kingdom, with a minimum grade of “Good.”

The ministry added that the academic qualification should be in any of the following fields: Law, Political Science, Economics, or in disciplines such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Strategic Planning, Strategic Studies, Policy Studies, Refugee and Migration Studies, Crisis Management, or any related field.

Applicants must be proficient in both Arabic and English and submit a certificate of English proficiency issued within the last two years, demonstrated through one of the following exams: a computer-based TOEFL with a score of at least 74, an IELTS certificate with a score of at least 6, or an English language exam at the Language Institute of the University of Jordan with a score of at least 75%.

The ministry stated that the applicant’s age should not exceed 25 years for bachelor’s degree holders, or 29 years for master’s or doctoral degree holders, and that all other appointment conditions stipulated in the Public Sector Human Resources Management System in force must be met.

Qualified applicants will undergo a series of written tests according to a scheduled timeline, followed by personal interviews for eligible candidates. Selection of successful candidates will be based on the ranking of competition results.

The ministry emphasized that applications must be submitted exclusively through the electronic platform (https://jordandiplomats.gov.jo
) from 5 October until 18 November, and that incomplete applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Applicants are required to upload the following documents via the platform: a CV, a valid certificate of good conduct, certified copies of academic qualifications and transcripts, an equivalency certificate (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities), a certified copy of the national ID, one of the required English proficiency certificates, and a recent personal photo meeting passport photo specifications.
