AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hanifat Thursday inspected the plant wealth laboratories in the Balqa governorate, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During the visit, Hanifat spoke about an action plan to establish and operate state-of-the-art laboratories in the Jordan Valley and the Mafraq governorate to facilitate export and import operations on border crossings. In addition, he called for the provision of logistical and material support to facilitate export procedures.
On the progress of the Agricultural Risks Fund and the new measures, the minister stressed the need to develop technical procedures, develop a plan to respond to risks, and enhance performance to ensure swift compensation processes for farmers so that they can continue to produce and ensure that agricultural crops' production chains are not disrupted.
