Zarqa– The Faculty of Media at Zarqa University concluded a series of discussions for master's theses in the field of digital media for the first semester of 2024-2025. اضافة اعلان

The theses addressed various issues reflecting the role of digital media in Jordanian society.

In the field of digital technologies and legislative issues, under the supervision of Dr. Amjad Omar Safouri, student Abdul Hadi Aqla Jazi Al-Halaba discussed his study on the effectiveness of podcasts in shaping cultural awareness among the Jordanian public.

Meanwhile, student Sawsan Abdelhamid Hussein Mubaidain presented her research on the impact of the 2023 Cybercrime Law on the performance of journalists in Jordanian news websites.

Student Zaid Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sufan studied the effect of digital technologies on documentary film production from the perspective of experts in Jordan.

Under the supervision of Dr. Amer Khaled, student Shatha Aqla Al-Qataitat discussed the role of social media influencers in promoting Jordanian tourism, while student Nidal Hussein Al-Zoubi explored the effectiveness of YouTube in enhancing the educational process for school students in Jordan.

Student Sajida Abdel Rahman Al-Hassamia presented her research on the impact of digital election campaigns on Jordanian voters in the 2024 parliamentary elections, and student Saba Rafeh Obeidat presented her thesis titled "The Attitudes of Jordanian Journalists Toward the Coverage of Global News Agencies on the Israeli Aggression on Gaza 2023-2024."

In the field of digital media production, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Fawaz Aneizat, student Ali Suleiman Dahilan Al-Najdat discussed his thesis on the use of digital technologies in media content production at Jordan TV.

Student Ahmed Omar Abdul Mohsen Abu Ayash presented his research on the impact of videography on the viewership of documentary films among Jordanians.

In the field of societal and media studies, under the supervision of Dr. Othman Mansour Al-Tahat, student Ahmed Jihad Al-Dakheel presented a study on the phenomenon of begging through social media platforms and its impact on Jordanian society.

Student Saja Hassan Jamal Awlad Issa discussed the coverage of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2024 by Jordanian electronic newspapers, while student Yusra Ayd Mustafa Abu Anez studied the impact of Facebook on the spread of rumors from the perspective of Jordanian journalists.

Similarly, under the supervision of Dr. Addi Abdulkhaleq Al-Amir, students presented analytical research.

Student Hamza Mohammad Ahmed Farihat discussed the Jordan News Agency (Petra) coverage of the Israeli aggression on Gaza during 2023-2024, and student Salem Hani Salem Al-Jabour studied the status of digital communication activities of the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Organization.

Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdulhamid Al-Shrairi, student Ilham Salem Mohammad Al-Salim presented her research on the role of social media platforms in spreading hate speech from the perspective of Jordanian university students.

Student Sanaa Nader Abdul Musa focused her thesis on the role of social media platforms in economically empowering Jordanian women, while student Murad Al-Ababneh presented his master’s thesis titled "The Role of Digital Public Relations in Managing the Reputation of Zain Jordan: A Field Study."

Dr. Tahseen Mohammad Anis Sharadqa supervised the thesis of student Nozhah Ali Abdul Karim Al-Zghoul, which examined the role of digital technologies in enhancing job skills for employees at Jordan TV.

Student Bushra Zakaria Mustafa Jalabneh, under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Sultan Al-Jalabneh, presented a study on the role of digital platforms of Jordanian political parties in strengthening women's attitudes toward political participation.

Finally, Dr. Wael Ziad Al-Shara supervised student Hamza Abdullah Mousa Al-Sweilemeen’s thesis, which explored the attitudes of media students in Jordanian universities toward the news coverage of the Al-Aqsa Flood.
