List of new embassy attaches ‘incorrect’, ministry stresses

AMMAN — A well-informed source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Sunday that a list circulated on social media, claiming to contain names of the winners of the competition for embassy attaches is “incorrect and aims to distort and mislead the public opinion”, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

The source said that “the names on the list are of diplomats who were appointed many years ago, with some retired for many years”, adding that “the ministry is fair and transparent when selecting new diplomats”.

The source expressed disappointment in the misinformation campaign which sheds doubt on that the process of selection of new diplomats and wondered what “the objectives of this malicious campaign” are.
