AMMAN —
Minister of Labor Nayef Al-Istitieh discussed with a Dutch official prospects
for cooperation under the support of the two countries’ leaders, according to
the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Istitieh’s meeting
Tuesday was with Tijmen Rooseboom, the Dutch ambassador for Youth, Education,
and Work at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Jordanian
minister highlighted cooperation areas available between the two countries,
telling Rooseboom that Jordan is training its human resources cadres to qualify
for new job opportunities.
Istitieh and Rooseboom
also discussed means of empowering the youth by training them on skills they
need to enter the labor market, mainly in vocational training and training on
curricula development, Petra said
