Some 30,000 Jordanians to get jobs in 2022

AMMAN – Minister of Labor Nayef Istitieh said on Sunday that the ministry will hire about 30,000 Jordanian citizens in 2022 as part of programs set in place to appoint and support local labor, rather that guest laborers, noting that the ministry will launch the National Employment Program at the end of January 2022, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Istitieh said during the Parliamentary Finance Committee's discussion of the draft law on the general budget and the budgets of government units for 2022 that "the duration of the program is six months, and the average salary is JD150”.

He added that the Ministry of Labor is working to digitize all its services by the end of next March, pointing out that seven services have been already digitized.

He said that the Ministry of Labor's budget was reduced by half a million compared to 2020, having become JD9.089 million.
