His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, discussed the overall situation in the region during a phone call on Wednesday.

During the call, both leaders emphasized the necessity of halting Iranian aggressions against Jordan, Kuwait, and other countries in the region, stressing the importance of resorting to dialogue and diplomatic channels to resolve conflicts.
His Majesty touched upon his recent tour of Gulf states, reaffirming that "Gulf security is fundamental to the security and stability of the region and the world."
Furthermore, His Majesty warned of the danger of exploiting the ongoing war in the region as a pretext to restrict the freedom of worshippers' access to Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, or to impose a "new reality" in the West Bank and Gaza.
