King holds phone call with German chancellor

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Tuesday with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, discussed the ties of friendship between the two countries and means of enhancing their strategic partnership, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

King Abdullah congratulated the German chancellor on assuming office, expressing keenness on advancing the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Germany.

His Majesty called for continued coordination and consultation on issues of mutual concern, in service of shared interests and global peace and prosperity.

The phone call also covered regional and international developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, in addition to efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, counter terrorism within a holistic approach, and reach political solutions to regional crises.
