AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah departed for Sharm El Sheikh on Monday to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP27, hosted by Egypt, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, will deliver remarks at the conference.
Deputizing for His Majesty, Crown Prince Hussein is set to deliver remarks at the Middle East Green Initiative Summit, held by Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of COP27.
His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
