In its first phase, the hospital began receiving emergency and critical cases, with plans to gradually expand services to include specialized clinics, a laboratory, and a radiology department, helping to ease the heavy burden on the healthcare sector in northern Gaza.
The hospital had sustained damage due to field developments in September, which had prevented patients from accessing its services, necessitating the temporary relocation of its staff to southern Gaza until security conditions improved.
A comprehensive technical assessment was then conducted, followed by repairs and maintenance of the buildings and medical equipment to ensure full readiness for patient care and medical services.
Medical and nursing staff will continue their humanitarian work despite challenges, reflecting the Kingdom of Jordan’s ongoing relief efforts and commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering.
