Jordan records 6 deaths, 286 new cases Wednesday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Wednesday reached 6, while a total of 286 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 9,922 and the caseload to 762,706. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Wednesday’s tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 151 cases, while Zarqa recorded 39 cases.

Irbid registered 32 cases, while Karak recorded 4 cases.

Balqa recorded 2 cases, while Aqaba recoded 6 and Mafraq recorded 10 cases.

Ajloun registered 13 cases, Tafileh 21, and Jerash 4.

Madaba registered 3 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 0 cases on Wednesday.

Maan recorded 1 case and Petra recorded 0.

The ministry added in a statement that some 37 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 83 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 7,779, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.92 percent of the 9,797 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
