Jordan records 14 deaths, 803 new cases Monday

 The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Monday reached 14, while a total of 803 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 9,910 and the caseload to 762,028. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 425 cases, while Zarqa recorded 123 cases.

Irbid registered 77 cases, while Karak recorded 24 cases.

Balqa recorded 40 cases, while Aqaba recoded 1 and Mafraq recorded 22 cases.

Ajloun registered 14 cases, Tafileh 29, and Jerash 31.

Madaba registered 9 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 3 cases on Monday.

Maan recorded 5 cases and Petra recorded 0.

The ministry added in a statement that some 77 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 74 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 8,252, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.35 percent of the 23,991 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
