Jordan records 546 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded today reached 10, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 546 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, bringing the death toll to 9,602 and the caseload to 743,877.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the ministry said:

290 in Amman
101 in Zarqa
45 in Irbid
32 in Karak
15 in Maan
12 in Balqa
12 in Mafraq
10 in Ajloun
8 in Madaba
7 in Aqaba
7 in Jerash
3 in Tafileh

The ministry added in a statement that some 57 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 63 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 7,343, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 2.78 percent of the 19,664 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
