Jordan ranks 86th on the Global Prosperity Index

AMMAN — Jordan ranked in 86th place in the Global Prosperity Index for 2023.

The Index is compiled by the British Legatum Institute which measures prosperity in different countries of the world according to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان

DeclineJordan's latest ranking shows a continuous decline having come down from 71 in 2018, 78 in 2019 and 80th in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 virus as the world suffered from the pandemic.

The Kingdom's ranking continued to decline in the following year registering in the 83rd place in 2021 and at 85 in the following year.

Denmark top placeThe index measures prosperity in 167 nations globally. This year Denmark occupied first place followed by Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
