Jordan not included in expat ranking of best country for attaining basics

Survey of 12,000 ranked five Arab countries in top ten, with Bahrain first

AMMAN — Jordan was not included in a ranking of 52 best countries for expats in 2022, which surveyed nearly 12,000 expats around the world to measure the ease of attaining basics of life.اضافة اعلان

The Expat Essentials Index, conducted by expat website Internations, placed five other Arab countries in the top 10 spots, according to Khaberni.

Bahrain took first place as the best country in the world for expats in terms of acquiring basics of life. It was followed by the UAE in second place, Oman in fifth, and Saudi Arabia and Qatar in seventh and eighth, respectively.

Internations is a global expat community with 4.5 million members in 420 cities around the world. The Expat Essentials Index takes into account expat ratings regarding access to services, housing affordability, ease of opening a local bank account, language, and ease of getting around.
