workshop on international human rights concepts and mechanisms held on Friday.
The workshop was organized by the office of the
Government’s Coordinator for Human Rights in the Prime Ministry, in
collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Danish

Awamleh said that the government’s coordinator
office has prepared a plan that balances between the recommendations of the
UN’s Universal Periodic Review, the national comprehensive plan for human
rights, and the sustainable development objectives.
To ensure follow-up on the recommendations and their
intersection with the subsidiary activities and main objectives of the
comprehensive national human rights plan accepted by Jordan and pledged to work
on.
He explained that the intersection of those
recommendations with the plan’s main objectives was 88 percent, and the
intersection of those recommendations with the subsidiary activities of the
national human rights plan was 79 percent.
He noted that the most important intersection was
with the focus on civil and political rights, economic, social and cultural
