Jordan on Friday condemned attacks on the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions of Saudi Arabia by several drones originating from Iraqi territory, describing the incident as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a flagrant breach of international law and the UN Charter.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures the kingdom takes to protect its sovereignty, security, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
