JTB launches e-platform for museums

AMMAN— The Jordan Tourism Board launched an online platform on its website designated for museums, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Board Director-General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said in a statement Sunday that the platform houses all Jordanian museums to highlight ancient civilizations, human and environmental heritage, and treasures found in the Kingdom.

Tourists can also take virtual tours of the museums and enjoy Jordanian heritage.

Arabiyat said that Jordan has a large archeological reserve and deep historical roots, as some artifacts date back to some 2.3 million years BC.
