JMD expects moderate heat in highlands, high temperatures in other regions

AMMAN — The weather on Wednesday will be relatively hot in the highlands and the plains, with high temperatures in the Badia region, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).اضافة اعلان

The JMD warned against direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours from noon to 3pm, and the possibility of fog at dawn and early morning hours over the northern mountains, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. On Friday, temperatures will rise slightly; the weather will be relatively hot in the mountainous areas and plains, hot in Badia region, and very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed.

On Saturday, mercury levels will continue to climb with dry and hot weather in the mountainous areas and plains, and very hot in Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will range between 20-32 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 26-41 degrees Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 26-40 degrees Celsius.
