JEPCO raises its readiness to deal with upcoming heat wave

AMMAN— Jordan Electric Power Company(JEPCO) announced that it has raised its readiness to deal with the heat wave expected to deepen in Jordan on Saturday, according to Al-Mamlaka TV. اضافة اعلان

JEPCO indicated it "conducted preventive maintenance for the power lines in order to reduce potential failures."

“Preparations were taken into account on the medium pressure network through an automated network that works to redirect the electrical current to deal with electrical loads,” according to JEPCO’s statement.

It also noted that "people can call emergency number 116, to report any electrical failures, while they can also report through the company’s mobile application.”
