AMMAN —
Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazzi on Monday chaired a meeting reviewing the list of violations
documented by the Audit Bureau in the month of March, according to Al-Mamlaka
TV.

The bureau
documented 25 violations in 17 entities. The minister said all corrective
measures will be taken immediately, adding that the violations do not need to
be referred to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission or to the
judiciary, as they concern tax evasion or illegal expenses, and that measures
are taken to collect the involved amounts.
Jazzi added that
violations also included failure by some government units to pay surpluses to
the Treasury, disregard of a Cabinet decision regarding customs tariff
adjustments, failure to pay fees and taxes stipulated by law, and discrepancies
between institutions actual and book balances.
