The Executive Director of Districts and City Services at the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Ghazi Al-Hadeed, stated that the number of sacrificial animals (Adahi) sold up until the fourth day of Eid Al-Adha reached 27,000. This is out of approximately 42,000 animals made available across GAM's 9 approved sacrificial animal sale sites in various areas of the capital, Amman.اضافة اعلان

Al-Hadeed pointed out on Saturday that sales volume this year was lower compared to last year, driven by the rise in the prices of sacrificial livestock.

He added that following the conclusion of the season, GAM cadres will immediately begin removing the temporary livestock stalls and start cleaning and sanitizing the sites. These operations will involve clearing organic waste, washing down the areas, and disinfecting them as part of measures aimed at preserving public health and curbing the spread of odors and insects.
