Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments and Efforts to End Dangerous Escalation with Qatari Counterpart

Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, held a phone call on Wednesday with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed discussed developments in the region and efforts aimed at ending the dangerous escalation currently taking place, as well as restoring security and stability on foundations that address all underlying causes of tension.

The two ministers also affirmed the solidarity of Jordan and Qatar in confronting regional challenges, and stressed the continuation of coordination and cooperation in efforts to resolve regional crises.
