The Assistant Directors-General of Jordan Customs inspected on Saturday the first groups of pilgrims arriving from Saudi Arabia via the Al-Mudawwara and Al-Omari customs centers. The visit aimed to review the readiness of the border posts, as well as the level of preparations and measures taken to receive the pilgrims and facilitate their movement smoothly and efficiently.اضافة اعلان

During a tour of the Al-Mudawwara Customs Center, Assistant Director-General of Jordan Customs, Brigadier Moanes Khalifat, emphasized the department's commitment to providing the best services to pilgrims. This is achieved by reinforcing customs personnel and raising operational readiness within border centers to expedite customs procedures and facilitate entry and transit, in line with the Royal directives to provide outstanding care and service to citizens and travelers.

Khalifat reviewed the field operations and the coordination mechanism among the various agencies operating inside the border post. He praised the efforts of the customs personnel and relevant authorities for their professional and humanitarian handling of the pilgrims, offering assistance and guidance around the clock.

Similarly, Assistant Director-General of Jordan Customs, Brigadier Raed Al-Shiyab, inspected the progress of customs procedures at the Al-Omari Customs Center to review the readiness of the staff and the operational mechanisms in place to receive arriving pilgrims.

Al-Shiyab stressed the importance of providing all necessary facilities and accelerating the processing of transactions to ensure a smooth flow of movement and the comfort of the pilgrims. He also underscored the need for continued coordination among all entities operating within the center to deliver the highest quality of service, reflecting a positive image of Jordan Customs.

He noted that the Customs Department has taken a series of organizational and technical measures to guarantee seamless traffic during the Hajj season and to effectively manage the expected increase in arrivals, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and comfort for the returning pilgrims.

On their part, the pilgrims praised the warm welcome, the speed of the procedures, and the services provided to them at the border centers. They expressed their appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Jordan Customs personnel and all working agencies to serve them and facilitate their journey.
