Farrayeh stated during the meeting that the responsibility for refugees is shared among all countries due to its humanitarian considerations, necessitating the activation of a resettlement program for refugees according to the plans prepared in this regard. He pointed out the commitment to facilitate voluntary return procedures, as integration is not an option, and the established truth is that the refugee's homeland is their original country, Jo24 reported.

Economic strain
He added in the meeting the urgent need to increase the support provided to enable Jordan to continue its humanitarian role towards these refugees. Jordan suffers from economic problems, and the waves of diasporas into Jordan have contributed to increasing these issues, burdening the Jordanian government with additional responsibilities across all sectors and raising unemployment rates among Jordanians.

At the end of the meeting, Farrayeh clarified that the dire circumstances require financial support for the World Food Program dedicated to refugees, especially considering the decrease in external funding for this program. This situation further adds to the burdens placed on the Jordanian government and the refugees themselves.
