Jordan puts forward fund proposal for the return of Syrian refugees

AMMAN —Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi revealed a Jordanian proposal to establish a fund to provide a safe environment for the return of Syrian refugees.اضافة اعلان

This proposal was made in statements made by Safadi prior to the launch of the Brussels Conference to Support Syria and the region, and which Jordan is participating, Khaberni reported.

Assuming responsibility
Safadi stressed that the international community assumes its responsibilities towards the refugees, adding it is no longer possible to deal with the same old mechanism for resolving the Syrian crisis.

Jordan is the largest refugee-hosting country in relation to the world's population, and there are 1.3 million Syrians living in the Kingdom.
