The Director of Education for Maan, Wahbi Al-Khattab, said
that several educational and awareness-raising initiatives have been implemented
for
school students in Maan in cooperation with official and community
institutions.

Agency, Petra, today, Friday, that, in cooperation with the Crown Prince
Foundation, 1,081 school bags were distributed to first graders in schools affiliated
with the Directorate.
In cooperation with community police, several
awareness-raising initiatives were also implemented in Maan schools over the
past week, targeting students at all levels.
The initiatives included
awareness-raising messages on the prevention of Covid-19, a commitment to the
preventive measures in order to maintain general health and other
awareness-raising guidance to motivate students to excel in their learning.
In order to improve school environments, Khattab said that a
bid of JD100,000 has been given for the maintenance of school sanitation
facilities, which will be completed in October this year.
Another bid of JD30,000 has been given for
furnishing the theater of Maan Secondary School for Girls, which will be
completed in the coming month.
