Consul visits Jordanian detainees in Israel

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s consul in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning visited the Jordanian detainees in Israel, Musab Daajah and Khalifa Al-Anouz, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dhaifallah Al-Fayez said in a statement.اضافة اعلان

Fayez added that the consul checked up on Daajah and Anouz’s conditions, listened to their demands, and was briefed on the progress of investigation with the two men.

Fayez noted that the ministry will continue to follow up on Daajah and Anouz’s cases with the Israeli authorities to protect their legal and human rights, in line with international law, and reiterated the need for Israeli authorities to respect their rights, holding it fully accountable for their safety.

He added that the ministry will continue working towards the men’s release, and that representatives from Jordan’s Tel Aviv embassy will visit them regularly to check up on their wellbeing.
