AMMAN — The Arab Parliamentary Union on Wednesday voiced support for the Hashemite custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalemاضافة اعلان

In a statement issued following an emergency meeting called by House Speaker Abdul-Monem Al-Oudat, the heads of Arab legislatures underlined Kingdom's role in protecting the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem to preserve the Temple Mount against Israeli violations of the historical status quo and the agreements signed in this regard. 

The lawmakers demanded that the Israeli occupation authorities, which breach the agreements concluded and violate the resolutions of the UN Security Council and General Assembly, assume their legal responsibilities, as the occupying power, and to end all attacks and terrorist practices.
