A spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate reported that a body was discovered yesterday in an apartment in Zarqa Governorate. Upon investigation, it was found that the individual had been killed by stabbing with a sharp object.

The spokesperson confirmed that a joint investigation team from the Criminal Investigation Department and Zarqa Police was formed, leading to immediate suspicion of an Arab national who had gone into hiding.
The investigation team continued to gather information, eventually locating the suspect last night. He was apprehended in a raid, during which the murder weapon and personal belongings of the victim were found in his possession. During interrogation, he confessed to committing the crime following a momentary dispute with the victim.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court.
