188 trucks and 38 planes sent aid to Gaza since Oct. 7 - JHCO

AMMAN – Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), confirmed on Thursday that the organization has sent 188 trucks and 38 planes worth of food, medical, and relief supplies to Gaza since October 7, 2023.اضافة اعلان

Dr. Shibli added that this assistance was sent in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF), Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The humanitarian supplies, including food, medical, shelter, and relief materials, were secured in cooperation with the WFP, UNRWA, UNICEF, USAID, Human Appeal, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), Direct Relief, Save the Children, and various private institutions and pharmaceutical companies that contributed as donors.

The organization has doubled its efforts to secure essential materials and primary needs for the people in Gaza around the clock. The organization continues to receive money and in-kind donations through designated donation channels.

The JHCO continues to welcome cash donations through its bank account at Bank Al-Etihad (JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06), CliQ (JHCOGAZA), or through the eFAWATEERCOM service on the JHCO website, www.jhco.org.jo.
