Make sure to eat it in the morning… Foods that provide energy and vitality

Dr. Margarita Koroliova, a nutrition expert, emphasizes that breakfast is one of the essential meals, as it helps the body activate metabolism and stimulate the functioning of all internal organs.اضافة اعلان

According to Dr. Koroliova, if the body’s metabolism is not maintained in the morning, it begins to slow down by midday, which can inevitably lead to weight gain.

She explains: “To maintain morning metabolic rate and the physiological processes regulated by the circadian rhythm, the body must receive all necessary nutrients. If a person delays breakfast, their metabolism will decrease more rapidly.”

The expert stresses that metabolic rate is not determined by sleep and wake cycles, but the crucial factor is consuming a complete breakfast, as confirmed by multiple studies. Digesting and absorbing food increases metabolic rate by at least 10% above its baseline. This effect varies according to the type of food; for instance, digesting complete proteins can raise metabolism by 15–20%, with roughly 10% of this energy used for thermogenesis, i.e., processing the food components.

She adds: “Supporting thermogenesis helps prevent weight gain because it forces the body to work to digest and absorb food, rather than storing it for later use.”

Nutrition expert Irina Besariova also notes that breakfast is the key to healthy nutrition throughout the day. Even if someone does not feel hungry in the morning, they should adjust their habits and dietary routine.

In general, it is recommended to drink a glass of water 20–30 minutes after waking, before having breakfast.
