INGREDIENTS
• 2 small to medium cauliflower heads
• 12 tablespoons marinara sauce (about 3 tbsp per steak)
• 1 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 0.3 cups grated Parmesan cheese
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoons salt (to taste)
• 0.5 teaspoons black pepper (to taste)
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
STEPS
1. Trim the cauliflower: Remove the stems and leaves from the cauliflower (2 small to medium cauliflower heads), then cut each head in half through the center.

2. Cut into steaks: Move the knife toward the left by about 4 to 5 centimeters and cut a thick slice of cauliflower. Repeat the same step from the right side to get two steaks from each head.

3. Season: Arrange the cauliflower steaks on a baking tray, then brush them with olive oil (3 tablespoons olive oil) and sprinkle with salt (1 teaspoons salt (to taste)) and black pepper (0.5 teaspoons black pepper (to taste)) to taste.

4. Bake: Place the tray in an oven preheated to 220°C (430°F) and bake the steaks for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping them halfway through so they cook on both sides.

5. Add marinara sauce: Remove the steaks from the oven, then spread about 3 tablespoons of marinara sauce (12 tablespoons marinara sauce (about 3 tbsp per steak)) over each steak.

6. Add cheese and broil: Add the mozzarella (1 cups shredded mozzarella cheese) and Parmesan (0.3 cups grated Parmesan cheese) on top, then return the tray to the oven and turn on the broiler for 4 to 5 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns golden.

7. Garnish and serve: Remove the cauliflower steaks from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley (2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)), and serve hot.
