Royal meeting inspires wrestling federation's growth

AMMAN — Mr. Mohammad Al-Awamleh, the president of Jordan Wrestling Federation, affirmed that his recent meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah on the sidelines of receiving the Golden Medal from the President of the International Wrestling Federation, Serbian Nenad Lalovic, has given him a strong boost to continue his dedicated service to the nation and advance the sport.اضافة اعلان

The president of the Wrestling Federation posted photos from the meeting on his Facebook account, captioning: "I had the honor of meeting His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein. During this meeting, His Majesty received the highest award from the International Wrestling Federation (the Golden Medal), which is presented by the President of the International Federation to the most significant contributors to the development of wrestling and the promotion of common bonds of solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding."

He concluded: "This meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Sari Hamdan, Deputy Chairman of the Olympic Committee, and Her Excellency Rana Al-Saeed, Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee. Meeting His Majesty, the King has provided us with a strong impetus to continue our diligent work in serving our nation."

The Wrestling Federation recently achieved the successful hosting of the Asia and World Championships for juniors and youth in record time, earning international acclaim and the highest ratings for the sport.
