Jordan’s FIFA ranking surge: From 87th to 70th

AMMAN – On Thursday, the International Federation of Association Football (Fédération internationale de Football Association (FIFA)) announced that the Jordanian national football team has climbed to 70th place in the world rankings. This improvement comes after their runner-up position in the AFC Asian Cup.اضافة اعلان

The team jumped 17 places in the ranking, previously being at 87th place globally, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

At the continental level, the national team now holds the 10th position in Asia.

On February 10, the Jordanian national team secured the runner-up position in the Asian Cup after losing to the Qatari team with a score of 3-1 in the final match.

The Qatari team, which retained its title as the Asian Cup champion for the second consecutive time, climbed to 37th place globally.

Argentina, the reigning world champion, maintained its top position in the global rankings, followed by France and England.
