— The Jordan Basketball Federation adopted its rules and regulations for the
new season, which will start on December 27.
The
new season will include six clubs: Al-Ahli, Al-Wahdat, Kufryuba, Al-Jubaiha, Al-Orthodox and Al-Jaleel.
The
season also includes two lists that are considered open and banned (A, B),
where each club can contract more than one player from the open list that maxes
out at seven players. The max number of players is reduced to five if two
players are contracted from the banned list of 12 players (A).
Whoever
wins the league will receive JD40,000, compared to JD25,000 for the runner-up,
and JD20,000 for the third place team, and JD15,000 for the team that comes in
fourth place.
