Amman — Shabab Al-Ordon Club president Salim Khair revealed that the dismissal of Spanish coach Carlos Alberto was due to his unsuccessful spell with the football team in recent months, despite receiving praise from several players. He confirmed that the club’s management is leaning toward appointing an Arab coach to lead the team in the coming period as it seeks to improve results and address the team’s difficulties in the Jordanian Pro League.اضافة اعلان

Speaking to Al-Ghad, Khair said the club’s management is reviewing its options for a new head coach, looking for someone capable of handling the team’s current circumstances and reorganizing the squad to improve performances and results in the upcoming rounds. He noted that the club is leaning toward hiring an Arab coach.

He added that the management has not yet opened negotiations with any local coaches, stressing that its priority is to identify the right candidate with the ability to lead the team and make the best use of the players’ abilities, helping Shabab Al-Ordon overcome its current difficult period.

The move comes amid growing concern among the club’s supporters over the team’s results since the start of the current season. Shabab Al-Ordon sits at the bottom of the league standings with three points, a tally that has raised concerns about the team’s future.

Fans are recalling the difficulties the team faced last season, when it came close to relegation. This has made the current period a focus of close attention, as supporters hope the management will address the team’s shortcomings early and prevent a repeat of the same scenario.

Given these circumstances, the club has little time to finalize the appointment of a new head coach, particularly as the team prepares to face Al-Wehdat next Saturday in the Jordanian Pro League. The match carries added importance as Shabab Al-Ordon seeks points and a positive result to restore confidence among players and fans.

With the match approaching, the management must move quickly to resolve the coaching situation, either by confirming the new coach or taking the necessary steps to ensure the team is adequately prepared. The current stage is crucial, and the team needs to regain its balance before a series of upcoming commitments.

Meanwhile, some observers believe Shabab Al-Ordon’s reliance on a large number of young players has contributed to its declining results in recent months. They point to the limited presence of experienced players capable of handling the pressure of Pro League competition, particularly in matches that demand composure, concentration and the ability to manage key moments.

Although the young players bring enthusiasm, ambition and a desire to prove themselves, adding more experienced players could help create greater balance within the team and enable them to cope with the challenges of matches. This is particularly important under the current circumstances, which require strong character and the ability to withstand pressure and turn opportunities into positive results.

The new head coach will therefore have an important role to play. He will be expected to work with the current squad and its available resources, build cohesion among the players, capitalize on their strengths and address mistakes made in previous matches. He will also need to find tactical solutions that help the team regain its effectiveness and achieve better results.
