The participation is part of a plan developed by the Jordan Royal Marine Sports Federation to develop sailing, improve the performance of national teams, increase international participation and give athletes opportunities to gain experience and compete against international opponents.
The national team recently completed an intensive two-week domestic training camp supervised by Egyptian international expert and technical adviser Captain Mohamed Gamal. The camp was part of preparations to improve the athletes’ technical and physical readiness and strengthen their competitive capabilities ahead of the championship.
The Jordanian delegation includes Egyptian head coach Captain Omar El-Zeiny, assistant coach Captain Mustafa Al-Atoum, physiotherapist Hamza Al-Kasasbeh, and athletes Waleed Alyan, Salem Abu Hamta and Moataz Al-Laham.
