Amman — HRH Prince Omar bin Faisal, president of the Jordan Esports Federation, will sponsor the finals of the 2026 School Esports Championship on Wednesday.

The championship is organized by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development in cooperation with the Jordan School Sports Federation and the Jordan Esports Federation. The finals will be held at THE ARC Esports and Gaming Center at King Hussein Business Park.
The championship qualifiers began on September 20 and continued for four days, with 916 students taking part and 894 matches played. Preparations and arrangements for the finals and closing ceremony continued following the conclusion of the qualifiers.
Sixteen players who advanced from the qualifiers will compete in the finals: Daniel Al-Rawashdeh, Amir Ababneh, Ahmad Abu Suraya, Sanad Dabdoub, and Faisal Al-Rawashdeh from Al-Jamiah Directorate; Zaid Hattamleh from Irbid; Saif Abdel-Kamel from Bani Obaid; Ward Al-Dmour from Karak; Mohammad Al-Kalouti and Qais Nassar from Al-Qweismeh; Moataz Ananbeh from Military Culture; Abdullah Al-Jazazi from Amman; Karim Al-Khairi from Wadi Al-Seer; Khalil Shaheen from Marka; Rayan Al-Dmour from First Zarqa; and Yousef Al-Huwaidi from Second Zarqa.
The finals will be played over four rounds. The first round will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the second at noon, the third at 1:30 p.m., and the final round at 3 p.m.
The event will be followed by the crowning of the winners and the presentation of medals to all participants, as well as championship trophies for the top three finishers. The fourth- and fifth-place finishers will also receive cash prizes and gifts.
