Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has made history by becoming the youngest player ever to wear the captain’s armband for the Catalan club.
The 19-year-old achieved the milestone at the age of 19 years and 58 days during Barcelona’s 5–1 Champions League victory over Feyenoord on Wednesday.

The historic moment came in the 71st minute, when first-choice captain Raphinha handed the armband to Yamal as he was substituted.
Yamal broke the previous record held by Bojan Krkić, who captained Barcelona in a 2010 Copa del Rey match at the age of 20.
