Jordanian referees chosen for World Cup qualifiers

AMMAN — FIFA chose a Jordanian referee team to lead the match between Lebanon and Iraq in the decisive round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, to be held February 1 in Lebanon.اضافة اعلان

The match will be led by referee Adham Makhadmeh who will be assisted by Ahmed Mounes and Mohmmad Al-Bakar

FIFA also chose a female VAR referee, who will be assisted by Ahmed Faisal, for Lebanon and South Korea’s match, which will be held on January 27 in Lebanon as part of the qualifiers.

On the other hand, resident referee Awni Hassouna will supervise the Iran and Iraq match, which will be held on January 27 in Iran, also as part of the qualifiers. Resident referee Ismail Al-Hafi will supervise the game between Oman and Australia, which will be held on February 1.

FIFA’s selection of Jordanian referees and resident referees to participate in what is considered to be one of the most important tournament matches on a continental level reveals their reputable status on a global level.
