Government Communication Minister and government spokesperson Mohammad Al-Momani said Thursday that the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, scheduled for November 19, reflects the significant international attention and regard Jordan enjoys, particularly among European countries.

Speaking during a meeting with representatives of local and international media, alongside Investment Minister Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, Al-Momani said hosting the conference sends an important message about Jordan’s standing and underscores the government’s and Jordanian decision-makers’ strong interest in investment, given its direct impact on economic development, attracting investments and strengthening positive economic indicators.
He noted that economic indicators are moving in a positive and upward direction, stressing that these results are backed by intensive efforts by the relevant ministries and institutions.
Al-Momani also affirmed the government’s commitment to keeping media outlets informed of the conference’s details, objectives and broader significance, rather than simply providing them with news and information. This, he said, would enable the media to gain a fuller understanding of the event’s overall context and importance.
