Jordan National Team Continues Preparations for Friendly Against Venezuela on Tuesday

The Jordan national football team is continuing its technical and physical preparations ahead of its friendly match against Venezuela at 8 p.m. Tuesday at King Abdullah II Stadium, as part of its preparations for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.اضافة اعلان

The national team held a training session Saturday morning at the Al-Nashama Preparation Center under head coach Badou Zaki, with all players taking part.

The 28-player squad includes: Yazeed Abu Laila, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Ahmad Juaidi, Yazan Al-Arab, Abdullah Naseeb, Mohammad Abu Al-Nadi, Saad Al-Rousan, Hadi Al-Hourani, Muhannad Abu Taha, Ihsan Haddad, Ahmad Assaf, Anas Badawi, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saadeh, Yousef Qashi, Amer Jamous, Mahmoud Shokat, Yousef Abu Jalboush, Anas Al-Awadat, Mousa Al-Taamari, Mahmoud Mardi, Tamer Bani Awdeh, Ahmad Ersan, Ali Azayzeh, Odeh Al-Fakhouri, Mohammad Abu Zreik and Ali Alwan.

Meanwhile, the national team will hold an open training session for media coverage and interviews at 10:30 a.m. Monday at King Abdullah II Stadium. Media representatives wishing to attend are requested to arrive at 10 a.m.

The draw for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup placed Jordan, runners-up in the previous edition, in Group B alongside Uzbekistan, Bahrain and North Korea.
The 2027 AFC Asian Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5.

Jordan will open its campaign against Uzbekistan on Friday, January 8, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. The team will then face Bahrain on Wednesday, January 13, at the same venue, before concluding the group stage against North Korea on Sunday, January 17, at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
