Egyptian Hamza Abdelkarim Scores His First Goal for Barcelona

Barcelona fell behind midway through the first half, but the 18-year-old Abdelkarim netted the equalizer from the penalty spot just moments before the end of the first period.

Hamza Abdelkarim moved to Barcelona earlier this year on loan from Egyptian club Al Ahly, before the Catalan club permanently purchased his contract during the current summer transfer window.

Hamza Abdelkarim featured in the 2026 World Cup, where his national team, Egypt, reached the Round of 16 before losing to Argentina 3–2.
