Amman — Al-Salt looks to continue its strong start in the Pro League football competition, when it faces Doqara, in a match between the two sides in the third round, at Al-Petra Stadium in Hussein Youth City, at 7:00 PM.

Al-Salt enters the match with ambitions of securing a win that would give it the chance to move temporarily to the top of the standings, while also confirming the impressive form the team has shown over the first two rounds, having managed a strong start that boosted its ambitions of competing for the top positions.
Al-Salt hopes to translate its technical edge and the character it showed in the past two matches into another win, especially since the team recognizes that continuing to collect points at this stage would give it an important morale boost, and confirm that its good start was no fleeting run.
Al-Salt secured a 3-1 win over Al-Arabi in the first round, before a goalless draw against Al-Wehdat in the second round, entering tonight's match with its eyes on returning to winning form under head coach Raed Assaf.
Assaf is relying, in his technical selections, on: Ahmad Jaidi, Suhaib Al-Qadi, Abdi Berry, Hossam Abu Saada, Faisal Abu Shanab, Yazan Abdel-Aal, Saleh Freij, Omar Hani, Khaled Isam, Suleiman Babayondi, and Kalu Onyemaechi.
On the other side, Doqara enters the match seeking a different start, after losing both its matches in its historic first appearance in the Pro League, putting the club in a position to secure its first positive result, giving it the confidence needed to continue its campaign in the tournament.
Doqara looks to appear in a more balanced fashion, and to use the match to gain further experience against a team with a strong start, while still holding onto hopes of coming away with a result that helps it move past the effects of its previous two defeats: to Al-Baqa'a 1-0 in the first round, and to Al-Faisaly 2-0 in the second round.
Doqara head coach Ahmad Abdel Qader is relying, in his starting selections, on: Aseel Al-Sayyahin, Ward Al-Barri, Abdullah Al-Manasra, Omar Al-Khatib, Bassam Daldoum, Ahmad Tanous, Ahmad Qatmish, Suhaib Abu Hashhash, Mahmoud Al-Taleb, Hamza Al-Saifi, and Matheus Amaral.
The match carries differing significance for both teams: Al-Salt wants to keep collecting points and closing in on the top, while Doqara looks to put an end to its difficult start and open its points tally with a positive result, in a match combining competitive ambition with the desire to make a mark in its debut appearance.
