The all-new Toyota Corolla Cross gives an advanced dynamic performance, thanks to the new “Hybrid” electric drive system that combines two power sources and consists of a 1.8-liter petrol engine running on the Atkinson cycle.
The system is tied to the electric continuously variable transmission, which contributes to a fuel efficiency of 23.7 km/l. Drivers can select from three different driving modes, including Eco, Normal, and Sport, to cater to different driving styles.
The all-electric driving mode, which is switchable EV Mode, can also be used separately with any of the three driving modes mentioned, to achieve quiet, emission-free driving at low speeds and over short distances.
