According to a report by the Ministry of Government Communications regarding institutional achievements for January, the first agreement is valued at $112.5 million. This includes:

$90 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

$22.5 million grant from the Global Concessional Financing Facility (GCFF).

Additionally, the Ministry signed a $3.5 million grant agreement from the PROSPECT fund (funded by the Dutch government). The Ministry of Agriculture is responsible for the full implementation of the program.

Funding Context and Objectives
This new financing complements a previous loan and grant approved in September 2022. The ARDI program focuses on:

Climate Resilience: Expanding rainwater harvesting at the farm and community levels, particularly in "Badia" regions, and rehabilitating drylands.

Digital Innovation: Improving agricultural and veterinary extension services through digital solutions and early warning systems.

Competitiveness and Export: Enhancing water-use efficiency, supporting Agri-Tech investments, and strengthening food safety and laboratory accreditation systems.

Market Access: Empowering cooperatives to access financing and developing post-harvest and marketing value chains.

Strategic Diplomatic & Economic Activities
The report also highlighted several key diplomatic engagements by the Ministry of Planning:

World Economic Forum (Davos): Participation in annual meetings to discuss global economic trends and build partnerships for sustainable growth.

Donor Meeting: A session to review the progress of the first Executive Program (2023–2025) and set priorities for the second phase of the Public Sector Modernization roadmap.

Jordan-Japan Policy Dialogue: The 8th meeting focused on enhancing investment cooperation and discussing future development projects funded by Japanese assistance.
