Amman Stock Exchange Trading Volume Reaches JOD 16.4 Million

Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JOD 16.4 million on Monday, with 8.1 million shares traded through 5,185 transactions.

The general stock price index dropped to 3,999 points at closing, representing a decline of 0.33 percent. Sector-wise, the industrial index rose by 1.19 percent, while the services sector fell by 0.93 percent and the financial sector declined by 0.51 percent.

Comparing the closing prices of the 106 companies traded today against their previous closes, 35 companies recorded gains in share prices, while 42 companies experienced declines.اضافة اعلان
