Figures provided by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin indicated that over 100 drones were downed over the course of two days.

TASS news agency quoted a Ministry of Defense source stating that at least 145 drones were shot down overnight, including 53 over the Moscow region.

The Russian aviation watchdog reported that Moscow’s major airports imposed flight restrictions amid the attack.

The population of Moscow—along with the Moscow region which encompasses the capital—is approximately 22 million. Ukraine has not yet issued a comment.
