According to security sources, the compound—headquarters of the Frontier Constabulary—was targeted by two suicide bombers, leaving three people dead.
A senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said: “The first suicide bomber attacked the main entrance of the Frontier Constabulary, while the second entered the compound.”
He added: “Security forces, including the army and police, have cordoned off the area and are carefully handling the situation, as there are suspicions that some militants may still be inside the headquarters.”
The force’s command center is located in a crowded area near an army camp.
